The Social Media Echo Chamber

Social media is an echo chamber of attention seeking behavior.

Everyone’s got something to share and we’re all scrolling through barely retaining anything. These words are no different.

We see content as a call for attention, rather than an expression from of an individual. A living, breathing entity.

That’s why it’s important to set an expectation within, rather than without. Likes and loves and comments and shares don’t mean shit. The statistics won’t travel with you…

But the words we write to understand ourselves, and the engagement from the people that matter, will.
