Lust, love, pleasure and pain:

All providing an escape from the existential crisis every human across all time and space has pondered…

Why am I here, and what is my purpose?

These questions can get lost in the vast amount of stimulation provided by the people we are around.

Things people say, advice and opinions that are presented by those we respect, can all be processed as fact, when essentially, it is just opinion…

I think “The Dude” said it best when he was speaking to the Big Lebowski:

“Well… that’s just like, your opinion…man.”

And it’s true.

For everyone.

All we really have is our opinion, and no one person’s opinion is greater or less than any others.

Everyone’s opinion holds value, but, as I have written earlier, everyone is wrong. (True Wisdom)

WE get to be the ones to decide what’s right.

Every one of us has the ability to decide for ourselves what could help, and what could hurt.

Not just for ourselves, but for other people too.

The old saying, the golden rule:

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”

That rule works. And it can apply to every moment you find yourself in, with whoever you are with, if your willing to be honest…

And it’s not always perfect, but it’s the best we can do. Be real to those who deserve it, be straightforward when doubt presents itself, and share ourselves the best way we know how.

And if that doesn’t work, there’s always escape.

Lust, love, pleasure, and pain:

Lust for knowledge and new experiences.

Love for you, for me, and for us.

Pleasure yourself in a way that leaves no one harmed, including you.

and,

Pain yourself to have the difficult conversations; the uncomfortable, life changing moments.

Step into the unknown and embrace discomfort as the answers begin to unfold behind your eyes…

Life provides the answers if we’re willing to live it.
