This podcast has been wonderful. I was thinking about The Hero’s Journey just when you were mentioning it.
The feeling of being left out and don’t get the support you are seeking is something that freezes us.
That you go into the dragon’s den and battle against that fear is what you need to do, you already know it but the fear, man, the fear is something that will not go away but you can manage it if you face it.
In the long run, the only way that you can feel comfortable with yourself, be contempt and present, is when you don’t have the regret of never trying it and you did your best when you face your Dragon (A.K.A. doing HipHop, freestyle in your case).
