There are two types of fires:
Out there and in yourself.
When it’s out there do this-
When it’s in yourself- also do this
—
The trick is recognizing when your emotional state is elevating.
For example, in discussion with another person, you may experience tension rise.
When you begin defending your experience, or point of view, or how you see things.
And the discussion begins to morph into an argument as both parties attempt to validate their own perspective.
STOP
Watch what the fire is doing inside of you. Be attentive to it, and like the video says, separate.
Enter into the witness and observe what is occurring within you.
The analogy of putting fire out with a poker is a great metaphor. When two heat sources are separated, they cool and eventually go out much quicker than if they were united.
Separate yourself from yourself.
Extinguish the fuel. Don’t add oxygen 🧠, and set your trenches.
Whatever fire is burning inside of you will dissipate and disappear. And, if done correctly, it won’t spread.
—
A lot of problems out there can be eradicated by eliminating sources from within that we aren’t aware are operating.
Through practice, we’ll find that there are less and less fires inside & out. All around. Things become clear. We are able to be more present, attentive, and aware to the needs of self and others.
We become more useful, peaceful, happy, and effective.

I’ve found that I’ve needed to “do” less, as intuitive action arises on its own.
It’s taken practice and a lot of fires to learn that I was the source. The fuel, the heat, and the substance, the problem and the answer.
This type of practice: separating yourself from yourself and watching, is the inner game.
See everything, identify with nothing. Watch it wrangle its way out.
The energy will integrate into something positive, deepening into well being.
